Never read a case before? Episode 8 might not make a ton of sense. Try this, it'll be fun*: 1) Check out an Open Casebook or search for a case on the Caselaw Access Project. 2) Read along with Black's Law Dictionary. 3) Try identifying the facts of the case, the legal issues that come up, what the court decides about those issues and why the court decided the way it did. (These resources are open source.)
Also recommend Deconstructing Legal Analysis: A 1L Primer by Professor Peter Wendell of Pepperdine School of Law. His presentation of the info in this book ruled. (Scroll down and type in your address to check library availability.)
